Portugal coach António Jose González Conceesao Oliveira has confirmed that he would like to continue his short-lived experience with the Egyptian club Al Ahly, adding that if he had Mohamed Abou Treika and Mohamed Barakat, he would have achieved the successes and victories of his successor, Manuel Jose.

The 71-year-old, who was sacked just two months after taking over as coach of Al-Ahly in 2003, told Al-Jazeera.net that since his departure from the team, he has been following his impressive results, noting that Jose, who was named after him, was lucky to sign the club, And Barakat, asserting that their great brilliance was the direct cause of the success of the team and his monopoly of local and African tournaments.

"If Abu Trika and Barakat were with me for a long time, I would have been a coach for Ahli."
