HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, today crowned Russia as the champion of the World Junior Speedboat Championship (Formela Future) after collecting 3,427 points, organized by the Fujairah International Marine Sports Club, for three days.
Latvia came in second place with 2484, Latvia finished second with 2428 points, while Czech Republic, then Poland, fifth, and the UAE, represented by Fujairah International Marine Sports Club in sixth place.
The tournament was attended by 121 contestants and contestants from Belgium, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia, Estonia, Poland, Russia and the United Arab Emirates.
The ceremony was held in the presence of Sheikh Saif bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah International Marine Sports Club, Salem Al Zahmi, Director of the Office of the Crown Prince of Fujairah, Ahmed Ibrahim, Vice President of the Emirates Marine Sports Federation, Executive Director of Fujairah Marine Club, a number of members of the International Federation of Marine Sports, Emirate of Fujairah.
The tournament saw a wide audience.
