Real Madrid's best player and world player, Luka Modric, has confirmed he will do his utmost to lead his team to the FIFA Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi.
"It was an amazing year," the Croatian player told FIFA.com. "I wish we could finish it in the best way possible - winning the Club World Cup."
In 2018, Luca Modric won the Champions League, took the runner-up to the World Cup, was named the best player in the world and crowned the Golden Ball.
"I've had a lot better physical and mental exhaustion," said Modric. "In the last few games, I feel better physically."
Despite all that he has achieved, he is still hungry and looking for more. The next challenge is to keep the club's world crown for the third year in a row, making Real Madrid the most crowning team in the competition against Barcelona.
