The drawing draw for the 8th finals of the Coupe de la Ligue was held this Wednesday afternoon. FC Nantes will have the right to a new derby as the Canaries will face Stade Rennais at Roazhon Park on December 18th or 19th.
FC Nantes is fixed. After a big success in Montpellier on October 30 (3-0), Vahid Halilhodzic's players will face Stade Rennais in the round of 16 of the Coupe de la Ligue. An opponent that the Canaries have crossed last week, already in Rennes. Both teams had a 1-1 draw.

This new derby will take place on December 18th or 19th. The last confrontation between the two teams in the Coupe de la Ligue was January 5, 2001 (round of 32), the Canaris had won the Stade de la Route in Lorient 4-2 after extra time.
