Lasickeni did not make the short list for the title of the best athlete of 2018 in the world

The short list includes Briton Dina Escher-Smith (running), Kenyana Beatrice Chepkoich (Running), Colombian Catherine Ibarguen (long jump), Bahamas spokeswoman Shaona Miller-Uibo (Running) and Belgian Nafissatu Tiam (all-round).

The award ceremony will be held on December 4 in Monaco.
