The first German football team will retain its name as "De Manschte", although the team's marketing name is being scrutinized following the big disappointment at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, according to a media report.

"After the World Cup, we were skeptical about a lot of things including our title, De Manschte, but the result of an independent investigation encouraged us to stick to it," said Bierhoff, the national team manager for Bild.

The survey found that the slogan "De Manschte", meaning "team" is popular among young men and women, despite the hatred of adults.

The concept began in 2015, following established international names such as the Azores of Italy and the Silesian of Brazil.

The president of the German federation, Reinhard Grindel, said after the team's exit from the World Cup group stage that the slogan "De Manchavt" could be eliminated from a number of reform measures.
