The Russian team won in both relays at the fourth stage of the World Cup season of 2018/19 in the German Oberhof. Yevgenia Pavlova, Margarita Vasilyeva, Larisa Kuklina and Ekaterina Yurlova-Perkht performed in the women's team, Maxim Tsvetkov, Evgeny Garanichev, Dmitry Malyshko and Alexander Loginov competed for the men's team.

The last time this happened in the 2006/2007 season at the stage in Hochfilzen, Austria. Then Anna Bogaliy, Olga Anisimova, Irina Malgina and Natalya Sorokina played in the women's team of Russia, Ivan Therezov, Dmitry Yaroshenko, Maxim Chudov and Sergey Rozhkov as men's team.
