CAIRO: Egyptian star Mohamed Salah has sparked a wide-ranging controversy over the media following a goal from a penalty that led him to beat Brighton and to strengthen the Reds in the Premier League.

Salah received the penalty after an intervention from Pascal Grosse, the defender of the opposing team, managed to translate it into a goal in the 50th minute and secured the win for Liverpool.

The supporters of the rival teams launched an attack on Salah, accusing him of deliberately acting and fraud for the penalty shootout.

In contrast, fans of Liverpool to defend Salah, and confirmed that the player was subjected to friction from the rival defender lost his balance.

So the same victims lambasting Kane for diving Tuesday are justifying the awarding of Salah's penalty, despite there being around 96% less contact. Can not have it both ways.

Liverpool coach Juergen Klopp said Salah had received a clever kick and praised his Egyptian player, who continues to smash numbers in his second season with Liverpool.
