The head of the Saudi General Authority for Sport and the owner of Egypt's Pyramids Club, Turki Al-Sheikh, denied the tweet that had been circulated about his objection to the postponed matches of Al-Ahli club in the Egyptian Premier League.

Al-Shaykh, through his official Facebook page, published a picture of a joke attributed to him and stating that he refused to play any team for the Egyptian league games until Al-Ahly finished.
Al-Sheikh denied the health of the tweet, saying, "a false fray, known for its purpose and publication."
The head of the Egyptian Competitions Committee, Amer Hussein, stressed the difficulty of Al Ahly to play all its postponed matches before next January, due to his African and Arab participation and the Super Egyptian-Saudi match, scheduled for the 25th of November in Egypt.
The Competition Committee has postponed nine games for Al Ahly in the Egyptian league and a match in the cup in light of his participation in the African Champions League and qualify for the final of the tournament alongside his participation in the Zayed Cup for Arab Clubs Champions
