Stuttgart (Reuters) - German club Stuttgart striker Christian Gentner died on Saturday in the stadium, the club said on Saturday.
Stuttgart's spokesman said Gintner's father had fallen into the stands during the 2-1 win over Hertha Berlin.
The club said that the father of the player died later, and expressed his condolences to the player and his family expressed his willingness to support them during these difficult times.
In respect of what happened, the Stuttgart players decided not to talk to the media after the game.
