The government-related ministerial meeting was held at the prime minister's official residence at around 4 pm, and Prime Minister Abe, Chief Cabinet Secretary Suga, and Takeda Disaster Prevention Minister attended.



Among them, Prime Minister Abe said, "There is a possibility of unprecedented record heavy rain, storms, high waves, and high tides in a wide area, and the utmost caution is required. There is a high risk of flooding, and other rivers need to be vigilant."



He then called on the people to "be careful of information from local governments and take immediate action to save lives, such as evacuation and security."



In addition, the relevant ministers said, "In order to respond to various situations, not only police, fire departments, the Japan Coast Guard, but also the Self-Defense Forces are ready to respond, and I hope you will continue to take every possible measure.
