Canon, a major precision equipment company, will suspend operations at seven factories, including its subsidiaries in Oita Prefecture, Nagasaki Prefecture, and Miyazaki Prefecture.

The electrical equipment manufacturer "Mitsubishi Electric" will cease operations at its factories in Fukuoka and Kumamoto, which manufacture semiconductors, and its factory in Nagasaki, which manufactures emergency power generation systems.
