Sanyo Shinkansen 7th Hiroshima-Shin Osaka Reduced to 1 to 4 trains per hour and operated at 12:27 on September 6th

Due to the approach of Typhoon No.10, JR West will stop driving between Hiroshima Station and Hakata Station on the Sanyo Shinkansen all day long, but it will also take an hour between Shin-Osaka and Hiroshima to drive. We announced a concrete plan to reduce the number of trains from one to four.

Due to the approach of Typhoon No. 10, JR West has already announced that it will stop operating the Sanyo Shinkansen between Hiroshima Station and Hakata Station from the first train to the whole day on the 7th.

On the other hand, between Shin-Osaka Station and Hiroshima Station, we were planning to drive with a reduced number of trains, but we announced a new specific operation plan, and on the 7th, there was an hour between Shin-Osaka Station and Okayama Station. It means that there are about 3 to 4 trains, and between Okayama station and Hiroshima station, 1 to 2 trains per hour.

As a result, the total number of trains that will be suspended will be 215 between Shin-Osaka Station and Hakata Station.

In addition, JR Tokai will change about 100 trains departing and arriving at Hiroshima Station and Hakata Station, which are directly connected to the Sanyo Shinkansen, to and from Shin-Osaka Station and Okayama Station.

JR calls for the latest information to be confirmed on the website, as the sections and time zones affected by future typhoon tracks may change.
