“Emergency bulletin mail” looking back to start new service KDDI Dec. 4 5:37

In the event of a typhoon No. 19 heavy rain disaster, KDDI, a mobile phone giant, received a series of voices saying “we could not look back” on weather warnings and evacuation information delivered to iPhones as “emergency breaking news emails”. A new service that allows you to review the information of "Emergency Rapid Mail" will be developed and will be operational from 4th.

Weather warnings and evacuation information sent by “Emergency Rapid Mail” at the time of a disaster cannot be reviewed by pressing the erase button or swiping in the case of an iPhone. The voice that asked was rising.

For this reason, KDDI has developed a new service that allows users to check the contents of emergency bulletin emails using an app called “+ Message” that can be used on iPhone, and will start operation on the 4th.

To use the service, go to the page for registering official accounts of companies, etc. with “+ Message” and select “au Disaster Countermeasures”.

When an “Emergency Rapid Mail” is delivered from a local government, a message is sent, and you can check for 3 days after it is delivered.

However, it cannot be used on iPhones other than au, and information on some local governments cannot be seen in the process of obtaining permission to publish.

KDDI is the first mobile phone company to start KDDI's service for looking back on "Emergency Bulletin Mail" on iPhone.
