According to “Ueda Electric Railway” on the local line running in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture, it was confirmed that a part of the bridge over the Chikuma River on the Bessho Line had collapsed around 8 am on the 13th.

It means that the Chikuma River increased due to the typhoon rain, the foundation embankment collapsed, and the bridge collapsed.

No one has been injured.

Ueda Electric Railway has been suspended from the first train on the 13th, and the prospects for the restoration of the bridge have yet to stand.
