Typhoon No.19 Supermarket and department stores 17:23 on Oct. 11

Along with the approach of Typhoon No. 19, supermarkets and department stores have a number of stores that are temporarily closed on the 12th, mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area.

All 124 stores in eight prefectures in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama, Ibaraki, Shizuoka, Aichi and Gifu will be temporarily closed on the 12th.

This is to ensure the safety of customers and employees, and the company says that stores in other areas may be closed if the impact of a typhoon is expected.
