The press service of the Central Election Commission reports this.

“The Central Election Commission of Russia recognized Irina Sviridova as having lost her status as a candidate for the post of President of Russia,” the message says.

Sviridova's candidacy was nominated by the Democratic Party of Russia.

On January 31, the CEC announced the completion of accepting signature sheets from presidential candidates.

A candidate for the presidential elections in Russia from the non-parliamentary Democratic Party of Russia (DPR), Irina Sviridova, was unable to collect the required number of voter signatures in her support.
