Earlier, Borrell criticized ideas about reconciling the parties to the conflict in Ukraine. He called for avoiding “repetition of mistakes.”
The politician also said that it is necessary not to give in to calls for peace in Ukraine and to double assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to him, EU countries have often been too slow in supplying the necessary weapons to Ukraine, but now it is important to transfer long-range missiles, air defense systems and other modern systems to Kyiv.
