It was early morning when the Israeli Nova festival, a few kilometers from the Gaza border, was interrupted by rocket fire. Soon after, armed terrorists from Hamas took over the area.

In the documentary, visitors Gali Amar and Amit Amar tell how traffic chaos broke out when several festival participants tried to drive away from the site at the same time.

- I said to myself, we can't get stuck in that traffic, says Gali Amar.

The friends chose to take shelter inside one of the festival's many toilets, and were rescued after nine hours. In the documentary, they tell how the experience affected them.

- We can process it together. We have been through the same thing and find solace in each other, says Amit Amar.

360 people were killed at the festival

During October 7, besides the festival, Hamas attacked several Israeli cities and kibbutzim. Over 1200 people were killed in the attacks and over 200 people were kidnapped and taken to Gaza. At least 360 people were killed at the festival. The attacks were the starting point for the full-scale war that is now being fought.
