At Egypt's border with Gaza, there are kilometer-long queues of trucks with aid shipments waiting to be let in. At the same time, the situation for civilians in Gaza worsens:
- The food is only kilometers away. We have never seen such rapid development. In the conflict in Syria, it took five years before we got to this situation, says Abeer Etefa from the UN's food program to SVT on the ground in Egypt.
On the French hospital ship "La Dixmude", which receives injured people from Gaza, the chief doctor states that almost all the patients who received care on board are malnourished.
