Eleven people stand accused behind the waste management company NMT Think Pink, which is suspected of having buried and dumped waste illegally in about 20 places in central Sweden. Anna lives only 70 meters from one of the dumping sites outside Norrtälje.

- Trucks came for two or three weeks and dumped waste in large holes, says Anna.

The area where Anna lives outside Norrtälje is a nature reserve and beach protected area. In the waste, which contains concrete, asphalt, plastic, metal and electric cables, lead, copper, mercury, chrome, zinc and arsenic were found to have leaked into the water. The waste poses a risk to human health or the environment.

- These are heavy metals that were only dumped 70 meters from our house. It really doesn't feel good, says Anna.
