Al-Duwairi: The occupation received a new American arms shipment, a proactive step and a warning message

The military and strategic expert, Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi, said that the Israeli occupation’s announcement that it is about to receive a new American arms shipment is a warning message to regional parties (Iran and Lebanese Hezbollah), and a proactive support step from Washington in anticipation of the war turning into a regional one.

Israeli Channel 12 said that an American arms shipment that includes dozens of F-35 and F-15 fighters and Apache helicopters will arrive in Israel in the coming days, adding that it comes within the framework of what it described as a huge military deal between Israel and the United States.

For its part, the US Department of Defense (the Pentagon) said that it had not seen Israeli media reports regarding the arrival of a new US military aid shipment to Israel.

Al-Duwairi explained that Israel has set its priorities in line with developments in the war in the Gaza Strip and the possibility of it turning into a regional war, pointing out that there is no technical or operational need for these aircraft in the war on Gaza, as the resistance does not have an air force, nor does it have air-to-air missiles.

The expansion of the war

He pointed out that talk about the unity of the arenas is still ongoing, as targeting Iran is a possibility, and the occupation leaders recently stated that the possibility of expanding the war with the Lebanese Hezbollah exists even if the party stops firing on its part.

In the context of following up on the comment on the raid operation carried out by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), in which more than 20 Israeli officers and soldiers were killed, Al-Duwairi confirms that it gave a clear indication of the accuracy of the planning based on expectations that matched reality.

The military expert expressed his admiration for the ability of the planner in the brigades to develop an analytical vision based on anticipating a specific scenario that was achieved in reality, adding that this proves good reading and analysis of the way the occupying army thinks, and developing hypotheses that are closer to certain information.

In the same context, Al-Duwairi indicated that the occupation is attacking the Khan Yunis axis in the southern Gaza Strip from all sides, but the most dangerous areas are the west and southwest, where parachute landings by the occupation army took place.
