A total of five traffic accidents have been recorded this morning on the A-4 highway, near Santa Cruz de Mudela (Ciudad Real)

at the same point where a multiple collision took place last night

, behind which is the dense fog in the area, which has caused the highway to be closed in both directions.

The A-4 has been completely closed to traffic after at least four other multiple collisions were recorded after 9:00 a.m. this Thursday, in which trucks and cars could have been involved.

According to the Emergency Care and Coordination Service 112 of Castilla-La Mancha,

there are people affected by these new accidents.

After these new accidents, caused by

intense fog

, the A-4 has been completely closed between kilometers 211 and 214.

Civil Guard troops, firefighters from Valdepeñas and Manzanares, at least

three ambulances, two ICUs and a medical helicopter are working at the scene of the events.

These accidents occurred

at the same point on the A-4 where last night a total of 13 vehicles collided

- seven trailer trucks, four cars, an ambulance and a van - which resulted in a A total of 14 people were injured to various degrees and caused traffic to be cut off in the direction of Andalusia.

This multiple collision

left 14 people injured

to varying degrees, three of them women and 11 men.

Of all of them, three were transferred to the hospital in the town of Manzanares, five to Valdepeñas and six to Ciudad Real.
