  Zhou Guochang, deputy general manager of the Personal Digital Financial Products Department of Bank of China (Hong Kong), said that the AA retail bond subscription response has been enthusiastic, with customers subscribing for an average of 9 lots, and it is expected to be approximately twice over-subscribed.

  "AA retail bonds can lock in a fixed interest rate of 4.25% per year, which is attractive amid expectations of interest rate cuts." Zhou Guochang said.

  Yin Kefeng, deputy general manager of the Retail Business and Wealth Management Department of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia), said that the bank's AA retail bond subscription response has been positive, with customers subscribing for an average of 8 lots.

  Yin Kefeng believes that AA bonds have low entry threshold, high dividend density, high flexibility and low risk, which are rare in the market. In addition, the market generally expects to enter an interest rate cut cycle in the second half of the year and the recent fluctuations in the Hong Kong stock market, making Bonds are favored by investors who pursue stable dividend payments and adopt defensive strategies.

  China CITIC Bank (International) stated that as of the 25th, the average subscription amount received by the bank for AA retail bonds was HK$100,000, and there were also several large subscriptions of HK$1 million. The subscription response was in line with expectations.

  The retail bonds issued by the Hong Kong Airport Authority have a term of 2.5 years, HK$10,000 per lot, and a regular interest rate of 4.25% per year. Dividends will be paid every 3 months. The maximum issuance amount is HK$5 billion and will be issued in 2024. It was issued on February 5 and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on the next business day.
