Israeli Channel 12 said on Thursday that an American arms shipment including dozens of F-35 and F-15 fighters and Apache helicopters will arrive in Israel.

The channel added through its account on the X platform (formerly Twitter) that the shipment will arrive in the coming days.

She added that these weapons come within the framework of what she described as a huge military deal between Israel and the United States.

The Israeli channel also said that Israel sought to make the deal according to what its military needs required, at a time when it continues its military campaign on the Gaza Strip for the fourth month and threatens a large operation against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

For its part, the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) said that it had not seen Israeli media reports regarding the arrival of a new US military aid shipment to Israel.

In late December, the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth revealed that the United States had sent more than 230 cargo planes and 20 ships loaded with weapons to Israel since the start of the war on Gaza.

Previous American shipments included a variety of weapons, including bombs, artillery shells, armored vehicles, and basic combat equipment for soldiers.

At the end of last month, some reports spoke of Washington’s refusal to approve Israel’s request to purchase Apache attack helicopters.

After the Palestinian resistance launched the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle on October 7, the administration of US President Joe Biden pledged to support Tel Aviv militarily, whatever it took, to enable it to “defend itself,” and it also deployed several aircraft carriers and warships in the region.
