Media activist Maher Hashash said that the demonstrations that have been organized in the city of Copenhagen for more than 100 days were able to influence some government decisions and win the Palestinian right and the war on Gaza.

Hashash - a director and journalist who participates daily in the demonstrations - added that between 2,000 and 3,000 people participate in the demonstrations organized daily in Copenhagen, and there is a central demonstration organized once a month in which about 100,000 demonstrators participate.

Despite the snow and the temperature, which sometimes reaches 14 degrees below zero, Hashash says in his own statements to Al Jazeera Net that the participants continue to demonstrate with the same intensity and the same strength, and this is evidence that the Palestinian right has begun to appear publicly, as well as showing “Zionist criminal brutality” openly and clearly. .

It is worth noting that Hashash is of Palestinian-Lebanese origins, and has lived in Denmark for about 35 years.

Regarding the impact of these demonstrations, Hashash said that about 70% of the participants in these demonstrations were Danes, and ministers began raising issues in the Danish parliament in order to stop the war on Gaza, and the state itself began sending aid to the Gaza Strip, and there were some decisions that were to be taken by Yes, he supported the Israeli narrative, but the demonstrations and protests stopped that, and now the Palestinian flag is flying in many Danish cities.
