Military expert Major General Fayez Al-Duwairi attributes the high number of deaths of the Israeli army due to friendly fire - during the war it is waging in the Gaza Strip - to fear and weak training, as well as the strength of the resistance it faces on the ground.

According to data from the occupation army, one out of every 5 deaths is caused by friendly fire, and 17% were killed in this way or during incidents in the field.

Al-Duwairi said that mistakes occur in all battles, but they do not reach these catastrophic numbers, which indicate the fear of these soldiers, the decline in their training in urban warfare, and the mismanagement of the battle, as well as the effectiveness of the opposing (Palestinian) resistance forces in managing (the confrontation) and imposing their will.

To emphasize the fear of Israeli soldiers in battle, Al-Duwairi pointed out that one of the soldiers killed a colleague yesterday, and another woke up from his sleep in terror, picked up his weapon and fired at the walls, in addition to killing 3 prisoners who were raising white flags and speaking Hebrew.

In addition - the military expert adds - the so-called “scandals” that linked the resistance on the seventh of last October (the Al-Aqsa flood) were later revealed to have occurred at the hands of the occupation army, including the killing of hundreds at a concert in the Gaza Strip.

Forensic medicine also confirmed that the autopsy of the body of a soldier, found in one of the tunnels, proved that he was killed by Israeli poisonous bombs, according to Al-Duwairi.

Al-Duwairi believes that part of these results is due to Israel’s adoption of the “Hannibal” Law during operations in Gaza, which is based on killing prisoners, which is what happened when a house in Gaza was bombed to kill members of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and those who were with them were killed. .
