While the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) proposed that Prime Minister Kishida deliver a policy speech in the House of Representatives on the day of the convocation, the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan (CDP) called for intensive deliberations at the Budget Committee on the theme of politics and money issues before the speech, and the ruling and opposition parties will continue to discuss the issue.

Chief Cabinet Secretary Hayashi attended the meeting of the Parliamentary Operations Committees of both houses of the House of Representatives and Councillors held on the morning of the 16th, and informed them that the ordinary session of the Diet will be convened on the 26th of this month and the budget proposal for the new fiscal year and fiscal 2024 will be submitted on the same day.

The ordinary session of the Diet will be 6 days until June 23.

In addition, at the Board of Representatives meeting, the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) proposed that the government deliver four speeches, including Prime Minister Kishida's policy speech on the 150th, the day of the convocation, and then ask questions on behalf of each party on the 26th and 4th.

In response, the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan (CDP) requested that the Budget Committee hold intensive deliberations on the issue of politics and money in response to the issue of political funding parties by the LDP faction before the government's four speeches, and the ruling and opposition parties will continue to discuss the issue.

In the ordinary session of the Diet, the response to the Noto Peninsula earthquake will be discussed, and political reform, including the revision of the Political Funds Control Law, will be the focus.
