With more than 200 million words, the book comprehensively and systematically describes the development level of China's shipbuilding industry productivity from ancient times to the present, focusing on the brilliant achievements made by China after the founding of New China, especially the reform and opening up, socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, and under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, China has become the world's largest shipbuilding country.

Guo Dacheng, President of China Shipbuilding Industry Association, presented the "China Industrial History: Shipbuilding Industry Volume" to representatives of shipbuilding industry universities, vocational schools and provincial and municipal shipbuilding industry associations.

The volume of China's Industrial History: Shipbuilding Industry was compiled by the China Shipbuilding Industry Association, which lasted for 5 years, and embodyed the care, support and painstaking efforts of relevant units of the shipbuilding industry, more than 60 backbone compilers and more than 100 editors. "China's Industrial History: Shipbuilding Industry Volume" is one of the series of history books of "China's Industrial History", which is led by the China Federation of Industrial Economics and published by the Party School Publishing House of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
