The bulls are suspected to have escaped from the Wapnö farm in connection with a forest grazing in August 2020.

Since then, the three bulls have been seen sporadically through trail cameras and occasional sightings in the area, where damage has also been caused to the forest to the value of several hundred thousand kronor.

"It makes you feel that we never got them in, when we wanted them in. I was hoping that someone would take pity on it during the moose hunt," says Lennart E Bengtsson, CEO of Wapnö.

"That's SEK 75,000 that went to hell – it's not something you just throw away." These are the words of Lennart E Bengtsson, CEO of Wapnö, about the lost bulls. Photo: Casper Sewerin/SVT
