According to the Telegram channel of the commission, a meeting of the monitoring group of the commission to investigate the facts of interference of foreign states in the internal affairs of Russia was held in the State Duma.
Piskarev noted that foreign agents and representatives of foreign organizations are involved in activities that impede the preparation and conduct of the presidential election.
In particular, we are talking about attempts to influence public opinion by spreading disinformation.
The commission also revealed the facts of providing an unlimited number of people with methodological and propaganda materials to discredit Russia and its electoral system, inciting the creation of protest groups in the regions and calling for illegal actions.
Earlier it was reported that the Central Election Commission of Russia decided not to invite observers from unfriendly countries to the elections of the Russian president in March.
