A teacher in a public school in Seine-Saint-Denis, Nathalie, a listener of the programme Pascal Praud et vous, has nevertheless chosen to enrol her children in private schools. A choice shared by the new Minister of National Education Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, who opted for the private sector because of the "non-replacement" of teachers. While Nathalie does not share this observation, she says she made this decision for another reason. Her five children "went to the public school until kindergarten, and then for security reasons" they went to the private sector, she explained on Europe 1, detailing the financial cost that this implies.
