It was at 02.12 on January 19 this year that the police received alarms from several directions about shooting at a residence in Fullerö. A neighbor then described that it "sounded like automatic fire." Three people were in the house.

The same villa that was shelled in January is believed to have been the target of the blast that took place at the end of September, in which 24-year-old Soha Saad died.

A police patrol noticed the men's car during the night when the villa was shot at. The car was also caught by one of the Swedish Transport Administration's cameras on the E4 on the way to Stockholm, where they were later arrested.

Convicted of attempted murder

On Thursday, the verdict was handed down in Uppsala District Court. Two men, one in his 20s and one in his 25s, were convicted of attempted murder and aggravated weapons offenses and sentenced to 14 years in prison. A third man is sentenced to a daily fine for violating the Weapons Act.

The district court writes in the judgment that the two convicted murderers "together and in concert tried to kill (three people) by from a car, armed with a fully automatic submachine gun [...] fired 18 shots at the plaintiffs' home. [...] . The plaintiffs were in the residence at the time of the shooting."

All three involved deny any wrongdoing.

Convicted man's father shot dead

When one of the men was suspected of the shooting in January, he was identified by name and picture in the TV program Efterlyst. Shortly thereafter, his father was shot dead in his home in Tullinge in Stockholm.
