39 Palestinians released in exchange for 17 hostages
Late last night, Israel released 39 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for 17 hostages held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip since the October 7 terror attack. The exchange was delayed by several hours by Hamas, which accused Israel of not keeping its side of the bargain.
