3 Palestinians were killed on Thursday and 5 others were wounded by the Israeli army's bullets in the West Bank, while settlers burned the property of Palestinian citizens in the town of Deir Sharaf, northwest of Nablus, after an Israeli settler was killed in a shooting incident.

The Israeli occupation forces killed two 14-year-old children during their incursion into the northern entrance to Al-Bireh, and killed a young man in the city of Qalqilya during their raid into the city in the northern West Bank, bringing the number of martyrs in the West Bank since October 7 to 134.

The Chargé d'Affaires of Nablus Governorate, Ghassan Daghlas, said in a call with Al Jazeera that the settlers set fire to citizens' cars and attacked homes and shops in the town of Deir Sharaf under the protection of the occupation forces at a checkpoint at the entrance to the town.

Another group of settlers attacked Palestinian cars with stones on the Jit village junction road between Nablus and Qalqilya.


Break-ins

On the other hand, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Beitunia, west of Ramallah at dawn, on Thursday.

Al-Jazeera correspondent said that clashes broke out between the occupation forces and Palestinian youths in the city.

Al-Jazeera correspondent also reported that Palestinian youths confronted the occupation forces that stormed Al-Tira neighborhood in Ramallah, and threw stones at the occupation vehicles that are participating in a campaign of arrests in a number of West Bank governorates.

Incursions included Nablus, Bethlehem and Hebron, and Aqbat Jabr camp in Jericho.

Al-Jazeera correspondent said that the occupation forces were shot while storming Batan Al-Hawa neighborhood in Ramallah.

The Israeli occupation forces arrested more than 65 Palestinians from the West Bank last night and at dawn today in raids concentrated in the areas of Ramallah, east of Nablus and Bethlehem, bringing the number of detainees since October 7 to 1900.


Settler killed

Earlier on Thursday, an Israeli settler was killed in a shooting attack in the West Bank town of Beit Lid, while Israeli forces stormed Beit Lid and other nearby towns after the attack.

Israeli Army Radio said a car carrying settlers overturned after coming under fire near Beit Lid near Tulkarm in the northern West Bank, while videos posted showed the dead settler wearing a military uniform.

Sources indicated that the Israeli occupation forces raided the towns of Beit Lid, Safarin and Anabta, east of Tulkarm, after the attack on the vehicle.
