In addition, 25% of respondents come to the service with pre-purchased spare parts, another 22% of the country's residents have stopped buying accessories and tuning items for cars.

The top changes in the behavior of motorists included the transition to non-original spare parts (21%), a reduction in visits to the service center (17%), and more frequent use of public transport (12%).

According to a study by the Renaissance Insurance Group and the Avtokod service, the results of which are available to RT, the main reasons why Russians are forced to change their habits are the too high cost of spare parts (47%) and maintenance in repair shops (30%), a sharp increase in fuel prices (26%) and the cars themselves (21%).

Another 17% believe that it will be much cheaper for them to cope with the repair of the car themselves, and 6% have stopped attaching importance to the originality of spare parts.

In total, 1.6 thousand respondents aged 18 and over living in large cities of Russia took part in the survey.
