The Emergency 112 service of Andalusia has coordinated, between 15:00 p.m. and 22:00 p.m. on Sunday, more than 1,500 incidents caused by the rain and wind left by storm Bernard in different parts of Andalusia, especially in the late afternoon and early night.

Most of the warnings, reports Emergencies Andalusia in a note, have been caused by strong gusts of wind that have caused the fall of branches, trees, cables, street furniture, signs and fences, as well as the partial detachment of cornices and flooding of premises and homes.

Among the most relevant assistances, the fall of a tree in the Granada town of Cuesta de Gomerez caused injuries to three people, who were evacuated to a hospital, as well as in Moguer (Huelva), where another man was injured by a fallen tree on the road to La Canorra, being transferred to the Juan Ramón Jiménez Hospital in the capital of Huelva.

In Jaén, a woman was injured in the leg after a fence fell on her at the Blas Infante roundabout.

By provinces and number of warnings, Seville is the one that has registered the highest volume of them with almost 550, concentrated mainly from 19:00 p.m. and mainly due to the wind.

In addition to the capital, incidents have also been recorded, without personal injuries, in the municipalities of Alcalá de Guadaira, Arahal, Aznalcázar, Bollullos de la Mitación, El Castillo de las Guardas, El Madroño, El Saucejo, Espartinas, Gelves, Gerena, Guillena and Huevar del Aljarafe.

Other Sevillian municipalities affected are La Campana, La Rinconada, Las Cabezas, Lebrija, Los Palacios, Mairena del Alcor, Mairena del Aljarafe, Marchena, Algamitas, El Cuerpo, Villamanrique, Paradas, Salteras, San Juan de Aznalfarache, Sanlúcar la Mayor, Tomares, Umbrete, Utrera and Villanueva del Ariscal.

A train that covered the route between Lora del Río and Utrera has been affected after running over a fallen tree between the stations of Cantaelgallo, in Dos Hermanas and Utrera.

In addition, the N-IV has been cut off, at kilometre 570, in Utrera, due to the fall of a palm tree.

In the municipality of Morón de la Frontera, the storm has caused the power supply to be cut off.

In the province of Cadiz, more than 400 warnings were coordinated, concentrated, in addition to the capital, in the municipalities of Algeciras, Algodonales, Arcos De La Frontera, Barbate, Benalup-Casas Viejas, Chiclana De La Frontera, Chipiona, Conil De La Frontera, El Bosque and El Puerto De Santa María.

The list of affected municipalities in Cadiz is completed by Jerez de La Frontera, La Línea de La Concepción, Los Barrios, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Setenil de Las Bodegas, Prado del Rey, Puerto Real, Rota, San Fernando, San Jose Del Valle, San Roque, Tarifa, Vejer De La Frontera and Villamartín.

Although there are no injuries, according to Emergencias Andalucía, in the province of Cadiz the storm has affected the A-2003 at kilometre 3, the A-383 between kilometres 18 and 7, the A-2002 at kilometre 8, the A-2000R at kilometre 3, the North Access of the AP-4 in Jerez de la Frontera, on the N-346 at kilometre 1 and on the CA-3107.

In Huelva, there have been more than 300 warnings managed by 112. The most affected municipalities have been, in addition to the capital, Isla Cristina, Ayamonte and Lepe.

The municipalities of Aljaraque, Almonte, Beas, Cartaya, El Campillo, Escacena del Campo, Gibraleón, Higuera De La Sierra, La Palma Del Condado, Minas De Riotinto, Moguer, Aracena, Punta Umbría, Rosal De La Frontera, San Juan Del Puerto, San Silvestre De Guzmán, Trigueros, Valverde Del Camino, Villablanca and Villanueva De Los Castillejos have also been affected.

As for Huelva's roads, in addition to the A-497 bridge in the capital, the A-495 in Gibraleón has also been affected, in this case by falling trees, although an alternative route has been enabled.

Storm Bernard has caused more than 130 warnings in the province of Córdoba, in its capital and in the municipalities of Baena, Benamejí, Cabra, Encinas Reales, Guadalcázar, Lucena, La Carlota, Palma Del Río, Priego De Córdoba and Puente Genil.

In addition to incidents such as those in the previous provinces, several warnings were also managed for the lack of electricity supply in Almodóvar del Río, Puente Genil and La Carlota.

In the province of Granada, there have been more than a hundred incidents recorded. The wind was mainly the cause of most of the warnings in Granada city and in the municipalities of Albolote, Algarinejo, Alhendín, Armilla, Cájar, Cenes de la Vega, Churriana de la Vega, Huétor de Santillán, Huétor Vega and Iznalloz.

Jun, La Taha, La Zubia, Las Gabias, Loja, Monachil, Montefrío, Dílar, Ogíjares, Peligros, Vegas Del Genil and Zafarraya, complete the municipalities of Granada affected.

With fewer incidents, the storm also affected the provinces of Malaga and Jaén, with more than 30 in the former and 40 in the latter.

In both eastern provinces, the warnings, details Emergencies Andalusia, have been registered from 20:00 p.m. and due to the wind.

In the province of Jaén, the municipalities affected were Alcalá La Real, La Guardia de Jaén, Los Villares, Mancha Real, Pegalajar, Santiago-Pontones and Úbeda. The storm has also affected the electricity supply in the town of Martos.

In the province of Malaga, warnings have been received from Antequera, Archidona, Benalmádena, Cártama, Coín, Málaga, Mijas, Mollina, Ronda, Valle De Abdalajís, Vélez-Málaga, Villanueva Del Rosario and Villanueva Del Trabuco.
