Potsdam (dpa / bb) - The daycare centers in Potsdam will open again from Monday.
The Potsdam administrative staff decided on Wednesday that, according to the current status, child day care can return to restricted regular operations with increased security measures, as the state capital announced.
The security measures include regular antigen spit tests of the approximately 2500 employees of the daycare centers.
The city bears the costs for this.
Parents who can make it possible to look after their children at home are encouraged to do so.
In addition, all employees and visitors to the facilities should wear medical mouth and nose protection.
In the case of educators, this applies to work with children from the age of three.
"I am glad that we were able to decide on the basis of the day-care level concept and the Corona traffic light that the day-care centers can return to restricted regular operation from Monday," said Noosha Aubel, the educational officer of the state capital Potsdam.
“But we ask those parents who can arrange it to look after their children at home.
The parents who do not take advantage of the daycare do not pay any parental contributions. "
