January 27, 2021A commando of men with covered faces broke into the door in the Moscow apartment of Putin's opponent, Alexei Navalny, and searched him.



Ivan Zhdanov, director of the Navalny-led Anti-Corruption Foundation, said that Oleg, the dissident's brother, was in the apartment at the time of the raid.



Alexei Navalny returned to Moscow a few days ago at the end of his convalescence in Germany after being poisoned in Russia and was immediately arrested.

He is serving a 30-day prison sentence.   



Navalny case, Putin gave Biden the "necessary explanations"


Russian President Vladimir Putin "provided the necessary explanations" on the Navalny case to US President Joe Biden during yesterday's telephone conversation.

This was stated by the spokesman of the Kremlin, Dmitri Peskov.

The American president "touched on the subject" of the Russian opponent arrested after his return from Germany, where he was treated for the consequences of the attempted nerve agent poisoning, and Putin said "the necessary explanations".
