Erfurt (dpa / th) - In Thuringia, the number of infections with the corona virus rose only slightly this weekend.
The Ministry of Health announced that 204 new cases were registered from Sunday to Monday.
However, the numbers are usually a little lower on the weekends because there is less testing and fewer reports from the health authorities.
The total number of identified infections with the Sars-CoV-2 virus was now 62,102.
According to the ministry, around 50 700 Thuringians are considered to have recovered.
1936 people in Thuringia died from or with the virus.
The number of so-called active cases on Monday was around 9,500.
