Therese Ahlande says that it is difficult when there is so much snow and she is supported by Jenny Åström, production manager at Postnord in Umeå.

- It is partly that it is not plowed but also that customers generally do not shoot so well to the mailboxes.

Even if they shoot to the boxes, they may not think that we will bring a car that may need to be reversed, she says.

"It's a struggle"

Mail that cannot be distributed is taken back and sorted again, with the hope that it can be distributed the next day, but it is the postmen's safety that comes first.

- We only have 2-wheel drive and our electric cars can not cream so much in the snow, so it is a struggle.

To avoid jams, you may have to stay in a place with less snow, you should never take a chance, says Jenny Åström.
