Bonn (dpa) - Telekom Baskets Bonn have brought Will Voigt back as head coach.
The 44-year-old American received a contract until the end of the 2021/22 season, announced the Bundesliga club on Monday evening.
The experienced trainer in Bonn is thus continuing his work from February / March 2020, which was ended prematurely due to the corona-related end of the season.
In February he replaced Thomas Päch as head coach.
After three negative Corona test results, Voigt is expected to lead the training from Friday, the message says.
The Baskets broke up with coach Igor Jovovic just a week ago.
The club thus drew the consequences of the weak start with eight defeats in eleven games.
As interim coach for the Rhinelander, the previous assistant coach Chris O'Shea stood on the sidelines.
