Berlin (dpa / bb) - The Brandenburg Greens have called for the right to work from home with a view to the corona pandemic.

That was decided by the party council of the Alliance Greens at the meeting of the party council on Monday.

Unfortunately, the number of infections is still too high, said state chairwoman Julia Schmidt.

“In this situation, we have to work even more intensely than before with operations and everyday office life.

We therefore demand the right to work from home for all employees. "

Many companies, including in Brandenburg, made exemplary progress.

Unfortunately, this is not yet an everyday occurrence in numerous other companies.

In Brandenburg there are corona hotspots like the Spree-Neisse district with 413.3 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in one week. Ten more districts or independent cities were above the threshold of 200 - above this value, tourist excursions and sports within a radius of 15 kilometers from the district boundary and meetings are prohibited. The whole of Brandenburg has a 7-day incidence of around 225. A week ago the value was almost 300. The goal of the federal and state governments is to bring the 7-day incidence below 50. The federal and state governments will therefore discuss possible stricter corona rules on Tuesday.
