Leipzig (dpa) - Bundesliga club RB Leipzig has confirmed its waiver of further signings in this phase of change.

The club have brought Dominik Szoboszlai from Red Bull Salzburg and it will stay that way, said sports director Markus Krösche before the game at VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday (3:30 p.m.) on Sky.

When asked about the 20-year-old French defender Mohamed Simakan from Racing Strasbourg, Krösche stated again that this was an “interesting player”, “no question about it.

But there are also other players who are interesting. "

Most recently, “Bild” reported that RB was interested in Simakan.

This is traded as a possible successor should Dayot Upamecano leave Leipzig in the future.

"Basically, Dayot has a long-term contract," said Krösche.

We'll see what happens in summer.

“Dayot is currently concentrating on us and we're glad he's here.

We want to achieve our goals together. "

Upamecano is repeatedly associated with top clubs from Europe, including the German record champions FC Bayern Munich.

However, there are no confirmations for this.

The contract of the 22-year-old Frenchman, who moved from Red Bull Salzburg to Leipzig in January 2017, is still valid until the end of June 2023. Upamecano has an exit clause that should be a little over 40 million euros next summer.
