January 16, 2021 The frost wave is coming from Russia which is causing temperatures to drop below zero throughout Italy. A decline that will be felt in the center-south where the mercury column will drop to minus 15 compared to recent days. These are the forecasts of the ilmeteo.it website.



The "wind-chill" will record minus 3 and minus 5 in many cities from north to south such as Padua, Bologna, Perugia. Rome, Naples and Catanzaro are also close to zero.



There will be no lack of night frosts, but even during the day the icy northeastern winds will cause lower temperatures of minus 4 and 6, particularly in the central-southern regions. The "wind-chill" in the areas at 1600 meters above sea level will cause the temperature to drop to minus 25.
