When Isabella Lövin (MP) thanked for herself during today's party leader debate - her last - the other party leaders took the opportunity to pay tribute to her.

Stefan Löfven (S) thanked Lövin and praised her for her work in politics and her committed climate and environmental work in general.

He mentioned how together they, among other things, developed a climate policy framework with new climate goals.

- Isabella Lövin has for the past two decades been one of the most important voices for green change, said Löfven.

He ended by handing over a guidebook for hiking in the High Coast.

Then Ulf Kristersson (M) came forward and expressed only positive words - to then hand over another book on the same theme, about hiking along the Sörmlandsleden.

- I myself have walked fifty of the hundred miles, said the M-leader.

Trees in Africa

Jimmie Åkesson followed suit, and said that he also had a gift to hand over: a tree to be planted in East Africa.

- It is good for the climate, but also for fighting poverty in another part of the world.

He then praised Isabella Lövin for her success in leading the government in a greener direction, but admitted that it did not benefit him or be in line with the Sweden Democrats' policy.

- It is safe to say that the Green Party has been good at getting the Social Democratic government in an environmentally partisan direction.

Most in pain, if you ask me.

But you can still congratulate Isabella Lövin on her success, said Åkesson.
