delegation who arrived in the country first received a report of the safety and health of the crew from the Korean Embassy in Iran.

All of the sailors are in good health, but SBS reports confirmed that one Korean sailor was admitted to a hospital in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran.

The sailor, who was hospitalized for abdominal pain, is said to have improved a lot.

It was also confirmed that Choi Young-ship of the Cheonghae unit, who moved to the Strait of Hormuz immediately after the ship was captured, was dispatched about a month ago.

A senior government official said, "Shortly after receiving information that Iran could capture Korean ships last month, Choi Young was put into the waters near the Strait of Hormuz and took measures to protect Korean ships."

It is known that the government at that time called attention to local missions and Korean ships and shipping companies passing through the strait.

Despite these measures, the views of the two countries on the current arrests are mixed, and the Blue House has expressed its position to make various efforts to promptly lift the detention.
