Augsburg (dpa / lby) - The Augsburg Panthers have signed striker Spencer Abbott.
As the club from the German Ice Hockey League announced on Tuesday, the 32-year-old Canadian was last active for Leksands IF in Sweden.
After a first negative corona test, Abbott can start team training on Wednesday.
After a second negative Corona test, he could make his debut for Augsburg on January 3 against the Nürnberg Ice Tigers.
“In our short preparation, we quickly realized that we would like to give our attack additional depth for the necessary rotations and a more scoring touch in this special season.
Spencer is a creative attacker with scoring qualities and is sure to be a great asset to our young team, ”said coach Tray Tuomie.
