Los Angeles (AP) - After almost two months, the actress Lori Loughlin (“Full House”) convicted of fraud is again at large.

The 56-year-old who was involved in the university bribery scandal in the USA left the prison in Dublin, California, a spokeswoman for the German press agency confirmed on Monday.

"She is no longer an inmate."

Loughlin was serving her sentence, which she began in late October.

A court in the US state of Massachusetts had sentenced her and her husband, designer Mossimo Giannulli, to two and five months in prison for fraud, respectively.

They also had to pay a fine of $ 400,000.

Loughlin and Giannulli are said to have paid $ 500,000 to a mastermind to mistakenly pass their two daughters off as rowers and place them on the sports team at USC College in California.

Several wealthy parents were also charged with bribing college and university staff in the US to place their children in prestigious colleges.
