Press institutions in the Arab world celebrated their coronation of the Arab Journalism Award within its nineteenth session in a virtual ceremony organized yesterday by the Dubai Press Club, representative of the General Secretariat of the award under the patronage and in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him. And with the follow-up of His Excellency Mona Ghanem Al-Marri, President of the Dubai Press Club, Secretary-General of the Arab Journalism Award, members of the award's board of directors, a group of editors-in-chief of Emirati and Arab newspapers, leading writers, thinkers, cultural and Arab media figures and leaders of media institutions in the region, through visual communication technology. 

Eleven winners celebrated their Arab Press Awards for this year from various daily and weekly newspapers, printed and electronic periodicals, and media institutions across the Arab world, whose works found their way to the honoring platform among nearly six thousand works covering various arts and fields of journalistic work.

An-Nahar newspaper

Al-Nahar newspaper's board chairman, Nayla Tueni, was crowned the Media Person of the Year award, in recognition of her efforts in supporting the march of the Lebanese press and enriching the Arab media scene, as she had many important contributions throughout her career full of accomplishments, and on this occasion, Tueni said: After all the difficulties that we have gone through In the past years, especially this year, with the big explosion that destroyed our beautiful city, Beirut, and massively destroyed the offices of An-Nahar. Asharq Al-Awsat Newspaper

Osman Mirghani, the writer for Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper, the winner of the Journalist Column Award, expressed his thanks and gratitude for being chosen as a winner of the Arab Journalism Award by the award’s board of directors and its general secretariat, for the "Press Column" category for the nineteenth session.

The Emirati newspaper, Al-Ruyah, won one of the 11 institutions that won the award this year, as it culminated in the "Journalistic Dialogue" category for a topic it published under the title "Scientists Draw Features of the World in 2050", by Muhammad Mansour.
